TO SPRING(双语诗)
Oh you, sweet Spring, little bird from cherub's wing,
And wail the ugly winter to a sleep:
Let the earth smile and rouse it with a gleeful song,
With larks singing their hearts high, as the skies brighten.
Your gentle breaths blow like delicate blooms, while bees in the garden hum their sleep:
The hills and valleys are stripped of snow's coat,
And streams and rivers freed from ice's garland.
May all the things be renewed with spring -- when you come and see you're happy, when you leave and know you've lost you'll never know!
